Description

Cacao Tanning Mousse will give you a luxurious deep, earthy bronze tone, with no stickiness. It smells amazing, dries instantly and is never orange. This lightweight formulation glides over your skin and offers a beautiful long lasting natural colour.

Free from artificial orange dyes or any synthetic or artificial ingredients, and with no nasty chemical smell, it’s perfect!

Meet our superstar ingredients:
Cacao provides a boost of antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids, to plump the skin and give it a healthy shine.
Grapefruit is rich in the antioxidant beta carotene, which transforms dull, dehydrated complexions to leave your skin beautifully radiant. It also works to even out skin tone for a smooth complexion, perfect for tanning!
Blood Orange drenches the skin with vitamins A and C, maintaining its natural glow and health.

Tip: We recommend you use our Tan Applicator Mitt on the fluffy side for a seamless streak free finish. Apply two coats.

Directions

Apply Cacao Tanning Mousse liberally & evenly onto clean, dry skin. We recommend using our tanning mitt.
Apply a double coat.
Leave on for a minimum of one hour, but we recommend leaving on until your next shower.

Sadly disappointed

I have been using the tan water for a few years which I love the colour but find sometimes goes streaky so then tried the moisturiser cream, again love the colour it gives a nice dark glow but unfortunately sweats off in this summer heat so all whites get stains left right and centre and ur body becomes patchy where ever you sweat so I thought I'd try the tanning mousse but I was sadly disappointed, applied and left all night to sleep in till midday the following day before showering and still had no colour too me. I guess I expected it to be darker than the hempitan and cream but it was actually lighter, evenly applied, looking even too just so very light, applied again the following night with no difference. Just really disappointed especially given the cost.

Hi Kella, Yes, Cacao Tanning Mousse is one of our lighter tans, designed to give a soft, natural tan. If you prefer a deeper colour, Hempitan is our darkest tan. Make sure to moisturise daily with our Coconut Body Milk to help extend your tan x

Reluctantly disappointed

I’m a huge fan of your product range and I’ve been buying the Face tanning water, Glory Oil and daily moisturiser for a couple of years and will continue to do so. I bought the tanning mousse for my overseas holiday, leaving my usual brand at home. The first application made no difference at all and I thought I’d exfoliated too close to application. I’ve applied twice on holiday and the only part that has tanned is, inexplicably as I used a mitt, the palm of my hands. I’d say my sun spots are now a shade of milky coffee but no tan. The mousse, compared to others I’ve used is a very creamy colour and not dark. I would have preferred to send an email and not a poor review but couldn’t find another way of contacting you. So disappointed as I can’t figure it out, as I always use fake tanning mousse in summer.

Hi Ann, Try apply another layer and leave on for longer!
But if you’re an avid tanner and usually prefer a darker finish, try our Hempitan, which is our darkest tan x

Makes me itch

I bought this tan as I thought it was all natural and other brands make me want to rip my skin off but this was no different so disappointed as it was more expensive than other brands

Hi Sal, All of our tans are certified organic and natural under the Australian Government biodynamic standards. We’ve carefully selected only the most brilliant natural and organic ingredients, with no synthetic additives or artificial fragrances. That said, everyone’s skin is unique, and even natural ingredients can sometimes cause a reaction, which is why we always recommend a patch test before full application.
It sounds like your skin may be sensitive to natural DHA, which is the active tanning ingredient. If that’s the case, we’d suggest trying our Bronzer applied with our large powder brush instead x

Excellent tanning product.

This is the best tanning product I have ever used - and over the years I have tried many! Gives a golden tan with just one application. I then use the winter skin to moisturise (AM & PM) which enhances my tan.
